Operational Accountant – Southall – Permanent Role – £50k Hybrid Working

FRS are recruiting an Operational Accountant for a globally market leading food manufacturing business based in Southall. You”ll be working as part of a global Group who have a number of UK sites. This role will be working with three of those sites – assisting with the delivery of month accounts for those business units.

Duties Will Include:
Complete working capital analysis, tracking & forecasts on a monthly basis, as well as consolidating total position across the Noon business including updating commentary for various stakeholders
Lead out all budget / projection & forecast activities and consolidations – focusing on detailed analysis based on a ZBCO Mindset
Support monthly reviews and periodic business planning sessions. Involves evaluating
financial and operational results, monitoring data and contributing to the development of
key initiatives.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly accounts, annual budget/projection, forecasts and year end accounts. Lead Out and review all Month-End Activities, as well as reviewing on-going opps / risks to the P&L and communicating appropriately to various stakeholders using relevant systems (SAP)
Balance Sheet Reconciliations & Monthly review meetings
Consolidate & review Cost Saving project tracker, as well as collating commentary for various stakeholders
Provision of quality information and analysis of key financial data
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and PFM procedures
Follow agreed standardised metrics and reports
Ensure strong internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk

Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be
Part / Fully Qualified (CIMA, ACCA)
Ideally experienced within the FMCG / Food Manufacturing sector
Advanced MS Excel ability
Power BI experience would be advantageous
