My client, a well established organisation within the industry, is seeking to recruit a full-time Accounts / Payroll Clerk to work at their Head office based in Coalville.

The role would suit either a Bookkeeper who is looking to progress their career into a more senior role, a newly qualified Bookkeeper / Accountant or a senior professional accounts person.

The successful candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail, be qualified to an AAT level 3 standard or equivalent, and have a good track record within finance.

The role is predominantly office-based, however we use a cloud based version of Sage, so there could be some flexibility with home working.

We foresee the role becoming more significant as we grow, with great potential career path available for the right candidate.

The role will be supported by a junior accounts administrator, who will be under the control of this role.

Tasks include:

• Oversee and raise invoices
• Communicate with Customers and suppliers
• Credit Control / Cash received (Currently Invoices are discharged through a factoring company)
• Manage Petty Cash and expenses
• Create and Compile relevant Management reports
• Update Sage with Bank reconciliation
• Manage Timesheets and wages (Hours collation as payroll is currently outsourced)
• Assist with financial decision making for the business
• Oversee Pension responsibilities
• Oversee all financial transactions

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000 – £32,000 per year
