FRS are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to work on a 12 month FTC for a modern and forward thinking business based in Banbury.
Working as part of a small finance team and reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be taking charge of all transactional finance matter within the department, whilst assisting the Management Accountant with the production of monthly accounts.
Duties to include:
– Invoice processing, and make sure no duplication of purchase invoices / expenses claim
– Make sure all expense claims are based on company policy / HMRC, and ensuring spending is kept in line with the budget
– Payment Processing
– Accounts payable management and reconciliations
– Correspond with vendors and respond to enquiries
– Assisting finance manager and support ad hoc reports, and general analyses as requested by the Finance Manager
– Assist with month end closing
– Assist with the preparation of management accounts
– Preparing and analysing monthly sales reports, and writing to staff about the findings
– Provide supporting documentation for audits
