I am recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a group based manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. You”ll be responsible for producing the accounts up to trial balance alongside the Financial Controller and assisting the FC during month / year-end.

Duties will include:
Daily invoice uploading & cash book maintenance
Monthly bank reconciliations
Wage analysis using MS Excel
VAT & PAYE returns
Pension processing including ad-hoc reporting
Month end debtors & supplier reconciliations
Assisting the Financial Controller with stock reporting
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Accruals & prepayments
Reporting of payroll

Ad-hoc duties include:
Credit control
Payment processing
Petty Cash reconciliations

The business use Sage 50 and MS Excel, so experience of using these is essential. Interviews are happening right away so don”t delay in applying if you”re interested!
