My client is a well respected Capital Management / Investment business working on behalf of a number of well know high net worth individuals.
This business is ideally situated in North Leicestershire close to M1 / A46 / A6 and therefore easily commutable from across both East and West Midlands and especially so given this business offers hybrid working of 2 days in the office 3 days working from home.
Reporting into the Finance Director (who is a well-regarded ACA Qualified Accountant) this role promises to be both varied and challenging.
• Timely completion of both Financial and Management Accounts for a diverse group of companies include – Commercial Property, Retail, Service Fin
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and analysis of variances
• Completion of Financial accounts for business to include VAT and Stat returns
• Ensure timely completion of low volume book keeping for client businesses – AP / AR / GL / Payroll
• Management of company bank accounts, cash books etc.
• Play a key role in appraisal and analysis on new business ventures, investments etc
• Ad hoc projects and analysis as required in managing a private estate and investments for high worth individuals.
The ideal candidate for this position will be actively working towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA if not already qualified and have at least 3-5 years finance based experience.
Broad experience across finance and a hands on approach is essential.
This is a very unique role with a number of specialised focused tasks, with this the FD is more than happy to nurture and develop the successful candidate and therefore personality fit is more of a focus than specific experience.
Those currently working within practice but seeking a first move into industry will be considered for this position.
A good level of IT Literacy to include MS Excel a must and experience of Sage highly desirable.
In return my client is offering a competitive basic salary of £30,000 to £45,000 DOE coupled with study support for those still actively studying.
