My client is a well regarded family owned £40m manufacturing business, with a rich history of local trade (over 100 yrs) and ideally situated in North Leicestershire, easily commutable from across the East and West Midlands.

Due to continued growth, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant to join the business.

Working closely with the finance director this position will take ownership across a mixture of Financial and Management Accounting Tasks.
Assist with Year end statutory subsidiary and consolidated group financial statements, Liaising with external auditors, ONS surveys
Assist with preparation of company Management Accounts
Daily cash reports, management of banks accounts and treasury management
Preparing accruals and prepayments, checking bank balance sheet reconciliations
Quarterly VAT & Corporation Tax returns, EC Sales
Ad hoc duties as month and year end
The ideal candidate for this position will ideally be working towards AAT / ACCA / ACA if not already qualified and ideally have at least 2-3 years experience gained working across Financial or Management Accounting.
Those that are QBE but have suitable experience will be considered.
Equally those currently working within practice but seeking a step into industry will also be considered for this position.

A good level of IT Literacy is key with knowledge of MS Excel essential and experience of systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero Desirable.
In return this position can be offered on either a full or part time basis with a basic salary up to £40,000 Bonus, Study Support for those still studying and excellent benefits.
