An excellent vacancy has arisen to oversee and be responsible for a small Credit Control department, based in Northampton.
We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a flexible approach, strong experience in credit control and leadership, and the ability to improve processes and display excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities Include:
. Lead the Credit Control Function
. Develop processes in conjunction with senior management
. Manage credit limits internally and with credit insurers
. Manage a Finance Assistant
. Manage the bad debt collection process via solicitors / insurers
. Ensure cash allocations are posted timely and accurately
. Deal with customer queries / requests for copy invoices etc.
. Issue timely and accurate customer statements
Skills / Qualifications Required:
. Previous credit control experience is essential
. Experience in leadership / team management
. A good command of English and numeracy
. Moderate Excel skills
. Able to pick up processes quickly
. Excellent communication skills
