Our client is a well respected manufacturing business supplying into the construction industry. As a result of continued growth FRS and been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Credit Controller to join their business in Northampton.
Varied position where you would be working across the Account areas including, new applications and collections. Credit checking companies and/or individuals to ascertain credit worthiness. Calling customers who have invoices fallen due and advising payment is needed. Arranging payment plans if necessary.
Necessary:
-Excellent communication skills – On email and telephone
-Attention to detail
-Ability to work both as a part of a team within an office environment and individually at home (self motivation is key)
Desirable:
-Experience in credit related role
-SAGE Experience
Role to include:
-Calling customers chasing overdue balance
-Speaking to customers directly regarding any queries
-Admin duties, including reply to emails
-Allocation of payments via SAGE
-Running a number of confidential searches on individuals/companies and using our company criteria to make a decision as to whether we can offer them credit
-Corresponding with customers via email to ask for further information
-Working towards and completing daily targets
-Contribute to the daily tasks within the department
-Reporting any issues/problems directly to team leaders as they become apparent
The role is a temp to perm position with both hybrid and office based work. The working hours are Monday – Friday 08:30am until 16:30am (although they can be flexible regarding start and finish times).
