Our client is an ambitious PE backed relative start up business within the healthcare industry with an award winning facility based within Warwickshire and exciting plans for expansion over the next 3-5 years which should see turnover exceed £60m

As part of this clients continued expansion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of an experience Finance Director / CFO to join the business.

Working as part of the executive team, you will work closely with external investors and board in both day to day running and strategic planning of the business.
Given the expansion plans, candidates that have past experience of interest in M&A, Fundraising or working with PE / VC backed businesses would be desirable.
 Responsible for all financial reporting to Board and shareholders, including acquisitions, capital raising, statutory accounts, audit and tax.
 Development and presentation of the strategic business model to drive fund raising with new investors.
 Lead the creation and development of a new group finance function including recruitment of a high functioning finance team of Qualified, PQ and Transactional Finance Staff.
 Managed all relationships between the company and P.E. investors, banks and advisors.
 Selected and implement a fit for purpose business and financial accounting software solution, supporting rapid business growth, providing depth and quality of information.
 Management of the due diligence process and the finance work stream enabling future expansion and acquisitions
 Design and developed a business plan and financial model which aid additional fundraising as part of rapid expansion.

The ideal candidate will be formally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with at least 5 years PQE and experience operating in a finance leadership position.

Experience operating within a PE / VC backed businesses is desirable and a proven history of M&A, Fundraising and Business / Strategic planning a major advantage.

Due to the start-up nature of this business, candidates will need to be comfortable initially working in a hands-on capacity assisting with the formation / creation of budgets, forecasts and financial models.
