Operational Finance Lead – Permanent role – Hybrid working

FRS are recruiting an Operational Finance Lead on a permanent basis for a globally recognised food manufacturing business. Suitable candidates will for formally qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) and ideally have FMCG / Food Manufacturing sector experience – SAP experience would also be advantageous.

The business are offering a salary in the range of £70k (negotiable) depending on experience and the opportunity to join a globally reputable business who are continuously looking at opportunities to grow further. Career progression is very realistic within the Group for an ambitious individual.

Duties Will Include

Lead the finance team with confidence, embrace a change mindset & culture always considering what might be possible.
Month End & Year End ownership – management & signoff of accounts
Implementation of Robust Financial Controls – and ensuring intercompany process is fit for purpose
Ability to engage & Influence wider business teams.
Drive a culture of curiosity and questioning to drive efficiency & performance
Empower others to deliver business performance metrics and growth targets as if it was their own business.
Invest time in your own leadership skills development and your wider team.
Build and stretch cross functional high performing teams

Partner with Business Leaders to Identify and recommend future strategy for each site to incorporate cost saving initiatives, maximize operational efficiency ,operational footprint and customer configuration.
Member of the SLT delivering on strategic, operational, financial support and leadership through empowering the SLT and wider group based Finance Team to deliver business performance and growth targets.
Taking a lead role in target setting and performance management to translate the business priorities into performance goals and growth plans
