As part of the companies continued expansion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Company Accountant

Supporting the Directors you will be working for several businesses.
Leading a small finance team your duties will include.

– Preparation of accounts, consolidations, and audit packs for a range of entities across separate year ends.
– The role will also be responsible for month end reporting, other external reporting and assisting the Management team with tax and compliance.
– Assisting with monthly P&L reviews, budgets, and forecasts.
– Preparing detailed monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports and reporting to Directors for associated companies.
– Understanding group structures and consolidation of balance sheets.
– Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates.
– Preparing weekly cash flow statements and controlling expenditure and cash flow for associated companies.
– Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts for associated companies.
– Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
– Conducting internal audits such as fixed assets inventory.
– Examining financial records to check for accuracy.
– Issuing relevant loan agreements to the various companies.
– Monthly reporting of all outstanding loans and finance for various companies.
– Monthly reporting of Directors Loan Accounts for various companies.
– Knowledge of Payroll and CIS is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be formally qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (AAT Also considered) and ideally have the benefit of previous experience gained within the Construction Industry.
A sound understanding of Financial / Management accounting is key as this is the lead Finance position for the group.

In return a basic salary of up to £50,000 excellent benefits and bonus await.
