My client is a well-respected and rapidly expanding privately owned business with ambitious plans for continued expansion with a UK Head Office based in Swadlincote and therefore easily commutable from across the East and West Midlands
Due to the above, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a FP&A Manager to operate as the No 2 in Finance.
This vacancy will be supported by an excellent and high calibre Finance Director and offers excellent scope for development as the company continues to grow.
The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and ideally have at least 5 years finance experience working within Management / Commercial Accounting / FP&A
The role will provide accountability and responsibility from the outset, with immediate management accounting and forecasting responsibility for the group. The role will sit alongside the accounts team manager, and report directly in to the Finance Director

• Responsible for preparation of management accounts
• KPI Management & Reporting
• Lead the Budgeting & Forecasting process
• Process Improvement Activity
• Supporting Finance Manager in all Finance activity
• Financial Analysis & Modelling
• Ad-hoc Reporting to Group Finance Director

• Balance Sheet Review
• Maintaining ERP system data
Key Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
• Financial Modelling / Management Accounting
• Excellent IT skills including (Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with SAP, SAGE and Quickbooks preferable
• Financial and commercial acumen
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent bookkeeping skills
• Organised and methodical and able to deliver work to a defined timescale
