FRS are recruiting a Head of Operations for a reputable, growing & vibrant business based in Leicestershire.

Suitable candidates will be results-driven operations professional with expertise in supplier management, process improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Skilled at ensuring SLA compliance, optimising workflows, reducing costs and enhancing customer satisfaction. Candidates should also have strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development & audit compliance.

This role will work closely with the following departments & previous experience of doing so would be advantageous – Finance, Sales & Marketing.

Duties Will Include:

Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensure SLA performance, resolve issues quickly and identify opportunities for service and workflow improvements.
Onboard new suppliers and support rollout of new technology or processes.
Review and update customer rules, implement changes effectively and train teams to ensure compliance.
Identify and resolve root causes of process failures, working across departments to prevent recurrence.
Develop team capabilities, provide coaching based on audit findings and ensure efficiency and customer focus.
Manage vehicle lifecycle activities including movements, maintenance, repairs, MOT, LOLER, recalls, rentals and accident management.
Support account management by acting as an escalation point for customer issues, providing solutions and reducing costs.
Lead the data and reporting team, prioritise workload, and ensure accuracy of information.
Work with finance to authorise invoices, resolve queries and recover supplier credits.
Perform audits, address compliance gaps, manage customer-specific regulatory requirements and investigate complaints.
Support vehicle deliveries, returns and key-to-key processes in collaboration with the sales support team.
Manage facilities requirements including cleaning, building repairs, safety checks and car park operations.
Lead and support ad-hoc projects including customer onboarding, exits, vehicle disposal and cost recharge reviews.
