Management Accountant – Home Counties

About the role:

A construction company specialising in family housing is seeking a Management Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage and update group profit and cashflow forecasts
– Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for internal and external stakeholders
– Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns
– Help with submissions for new site bank funding and monitor existing site funding
– Create and analyse annual group budgets

The Ideal Candidate:

– A professional qualification from a recognised institution such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW is preferred or Part Qualified with extensive Construction experience.
– Must be well-organised, flexible, and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
– Experience with relevant financial and accounting software packages is essential, and knowledge of COINS is a plus
– Some understanding of the construction industry is advantageous

Location: Home Counties, UK. The role is based at the company”s head office.
