FRS Accountancy are assisting this market leading organisation based between Thame and High Wycombe.

They are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic qualified management accountant to join their growing team.

Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

• Full management accounts preparation.
• Full P&L with supporting balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and investigation of all variances to budget, including discussions with Managers.
• Presenting the management accounts to the Group Financial Controller and CFO for review.
• Production and accuracy of the Weekly Reporting for the Group, distributed to the Directors and Senior Managers.
• Investigating any unusual variances to previous week or budget.
• Production and accuracy of the monthly Investor reporting pack, ensuring all reporting ties back to the finalised management accounts and ensuring all deadlines are met in accordance with reporting requirements.
• Preparation of annual budget.
• Participation in the budget setting meetings with Manager and Operations Director.
• Influencing the Operations teams budget decisions with a Financial viewpoint, whilst considering the impact this may have on business.
• Reviewing budgets against prior year, budgets and actual performance and commenting on major variances.
• Ad hoc projects as required.

They are a growing and fast paced business, and there are opportunities for the right candidate to get involved in other projects.

The successful candidate will have previous Management Accounting experience and will be a proactive individual, willing to challenge the operations team and take ownership for improving the financial performance of the business, alongside experience of improving systems and processes, with consideration for the impact this has on the operation.

Accuracy, diligence and an ability to deliver to strict deadlines are essential traits required to ensure reporting requirements are met.

Ideally, you will be a Qualified ACCA / CIMA or equivalent with previous experience working in a similar position.
