FRS are recruiting an Accountant for a highly respected and successful firm of Accountants based in Coventry.

You will be joining a tight-knit group who offer excellent career prospects and an abundance of benefits.

Duties will include:

– Preparation of Limited company accounts for clients up to several million pounds turnover.
– Preparation of corporation tax computations.
– Preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts.
– Reviewing VAT returns prepared by other team members.
– Liaising with clients to answer queries and provide advice.
– Potential for the right individual to develop into managing a portfolio of clients.

Suitable candidates will have / be:

– Previous practice experience
– Preferably trained in a medium-sized firm
– Knowledge of Xero, Sage and IRIS is desirable
– General knowledge of personal tax, to enable basic tax planning
– Experience in training / supporting junior members of the team
