We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a business in Corby, working within a small and friendly finance team.

This role would suit an individual with either purchase ledger or accounting experience, and good Excel skills.

Duties include:

Responsibility for the purchase ledger; processing invoices, matching and coding
Preparing and arranging authorisation for weekly payment runs
Resolving supplier queries
Sales ledger; raising invoices and credit notes as required
End of day sales reporting
Account reconciliations
Assisting with VAT returns
Other financial reporting as required, and ad hoc duties

Skills Required:

– Previous purchase ledger or accounts experience
– Strong Excel skills
– A self-motivated approach
– Attention to detail
