We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join an exciting brand based near Silverstone.

This role has the flexibility to be offered on a part time job share for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

Banking
. Responsible for preparing the payment run to suppliers and bank reconciliations
. Run monthly statements from the on-line bank system and post
. Ensure banking is done regularly and posted
. Bank reconciliations performed weekly / monthly
. Responsibility for bank deposits, setting up direct debits, BACS / CHAPS transfers

Suppliers
. To receive supplier invoices for stocks and expenses, and process for approval and post
. Check Supplier Statements as received and deal with queries to resolution and file
. Recommend supplier payments according to company timetables
. Preparation of supplier payment and remittance advices, and schedule to Financial Controller and for final approval
. To liaise with Despatch and stock department
. Dealing with Suppliers telephone queries

Expenses
. To ensure all expenses claims received are processed and posted
. To process and post credit card statements
. Checking, coding and inputting of employee expenses – both cash and business card, including reconciling employee expense sheets with business card statement every month

Customers
. Sending out sales invoices in a timely and accurate manner
. To allocate cash / bank receipts from customers
. To liaise with customers and deal with queries to resolution
. Update invoices paid / unpaid report
. Responsible for the daily cash allocation and cash reconciliation from our customers

Accounting & Finance
. To assist during month end management accounts and reporting to Management
. To assist with year-end statutory accounts
. Produce quarterly VAT returns, ensuring import VAT and Postponed VAT is accounted for correctly
. System used, Xero
