FRS are currently assisting a vibrant and expanding business services firm looking to recruit a hardworking, intelligent and conscientious Accounts Assistant, to support the Finance Manager and assist other members of the team.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Sales Ledger
• To be responsible for responding to customer queries i.e., statement and invoice requests
• To post and allocate sales ledger cash received as per the remittance
• To send parts invoices to the customers daily
• Uploading invoices onto third party platform for customers
Purchase Ledger
• Scan, load and verify invoices on Formstorm and upload to Palette
• Post purchase ledger parts invoices to Power daily
• Complete Purchase Ledger statement reconciliations
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience in a Finance / Accounts office or a similar role is essential
• All round accounting knowledge i.e., debit / credit understanding
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to recognise and correct any errors found
• Excellent IT skills – experienced in using Microsoft Office based software, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
• A ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
• The ability to communicate with others
• Professional qualification such as AAT, is preferred but not essential
