Accounts Assistant

My client is a leader within a specialist sector, due to expansion they now have a requirement for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, 15 month contract basis with the option to go permanent.

Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm


Assisting & providing support to the Financial Controller

Sales Ledger
• Raising customer invoices on a daily basis
• Sending customer statements on a monthly basis
• Posting all customer VISA & BACS receipts & reconciling customer accounts
• Credit control on a weekly basis
• Customer account query resolution
General Accounts Functions
• Checking bank balances daily on GBP, EURO & USD accounts
• Daily bank statement reconciliation
• Production of journal entries for management accounting
• Month end functions & preparation of T/B
• Preparation & payment of Expenses claims
Other Duties
• Production of Key Performance Indicators
• Deputising for Financial Controller in her absence
• Carrying out other duties as required
