FRS are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a temp to perm basis for a business based in West Bromwich.
The business are in the Engineering sector, and you will be working alongside the Group Finance Director covering all aspects of transactional finance.
Initially the role will be biased towards the Purchase Ledger, with a lot of processing and raising invoices / putting them onto the system. After your first 2-3 weeks, the role will then elaborate onto a more varied list of duties as below.
Duties will include:
– Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger, including maintaining and filing invoices, processing petty cash and expenses
– Assisting with credit control
– Processing payroll (experience would be ideal but not essential – must be willing to learn)
– Bank and statement reconciliations
– Assisting with ad hoc reporting and month end assistance
– Maintaining the cashbook
– Assisting with VAT returns
