Accounts Supervisor

My client, a leader in their field, due to continued expansion are looking for a full-time Accounts Supervisor based at their head office in Market Harborough.

On offer is a competitive salary, pension scheme, 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, and a holiday buy back scheme of up to 10 days per year.

Your duties will include:

• Assessing and administering subcontractor payments
• Overseeing purchase ledger
• Processing the weekly payroll
• Weekly and ad hoc supplier payment runs
• Job costing data entry
• Processing employee expenses
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit control
• Reconciliations of the balance sheet and project costing ledger
• VAT, CIS, RTI submissions
• Analysis of contract costs
• Reporting to the Financial Controller
• Providing support to Financial Controller and Finance / admin department

Suitable candidates:

• Must have previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in a house-building, construction or contracting business
• Must understand the importance of being discreet and confidential at all times
• Have a high level of attention to detail
• A working knowledge of Sage
• Must be IT literate, particularly in Excel
