FRS are assisting a reputable and ever expanding business, with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant.
You will be working within a small finance team and working directly with the Financial Controller on a daily basis, supporting the month end processes and managing the transactional finance within the business.
Ideally you will hold a form of accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA), and have a SME background, with a good understanding of MS Excel.
Duties will include:
– Management of the Sales and Purchase Ledgers
– Assisting with Credit Control
– Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
– Supporting the reporting processes
– VAT returns
– Balance sheet reconciliations
– Prepayments, accruals and journals
