FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant vacancy for a well established and growing business based in Rugby.

Working in a small team, you will be reporting into the Managing Director and also an external firm of Accountants, and you will be responsible for processing transactional finance, including the following duties:

– Management of the Purchase Ledger, including logging and processing invoices, payment processing and resolving queries with suppliers
– Management of the Sales Ledger including reconciliations, chasing up unpaid invoices and producing reports, sending out invoices and statements
– Working with the Project team and dealing with any ad hoc project work
– General ad hoc finance admin duties as required
– Updating and maintaining the accounts database
– Producing ad hoc reports as per the MD”s / Accountants request

Suitable candidates will have / be:

– AAT Qualified or studying towards with the relevant experience
– Ideally, experienced with QuickBooks and MS Excel, although this isn”t essential
– Previous experience working within a similar position in a SME
– Will be able to manage your own diary
