We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join a friendly and professional team in Rushden. The successful individual will be responsible for the management of their own clients, recording bookkeeping and advising on a range of issues.

The role requires previous experience in keeping accounts up to and including trial balance, however training and support will be provided on the business and systems.

Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining cash book and purchase ledger for a number of clients
• Bank reconciliation
• Preparation of VAT account
• Processing and filing of invoices, receipts and other documents
• Managing or advising on payments
• Issuing monthly as well as irregular reports
• Providing guidance and support as required
• Preparation of annual financial statements in conjunction with a statutory auditor

AAT Level 3 or similar is preferred but not essential depending on experience.
