My client is a rapidly expanding International Tech business trading for over 35 years, with a turnover of over £50m and ideally situated near Coleshill, Birmingham, therefore easily accessible via both M6 and M42.

Due to a period of business transformation, as a result of both organic growth and acquisition, my client has engaged FRS to recruit for 2 newly created positions at Part Qualified / Finalist Level, and Qualified with PQE.

Being newly created to strengthen the existing team, the exact nature of the role can be defined around the candidates, with candidates either specialising or remaining in the below accounting areas:

• Management Accountant – Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis and ownership of P&L
• Financial Accounting – Group, Consolidations, Intercompany, Stat Accounting and Returns, Audit Preparation
• FP&A / Commercial Accounting – Financial Analysis, Business Partnering and Financial Planning
• Projects – Drive Improvement to Processes and Controls, Assist with Migration to new Dynamics 365 Software

The recruitment of these positions is less about the experience, with more focus being put by the CFO on recruiting candidates with the right fit to the rapidly expanding business.

Whilst previous demonstrated experience in the above, either in practice or industry is key, the main focus will be on attitude, desire and passion to build a long term career within a progressive business.

A passion for driving continuous improvement, with the aspiration of building a best in class, outward facing finance department with great culture is at the forefront of this recruitment.

In return, my client is able to offer a basic salary from £30,000 – £45,000 coupled with excellent benefits, amazing scope for career development (due to continued planned expansion) and an excellent working environment.

This business are currently having staff remote working during COVID Times, and with the implementation of cloud technology pending, this is set to continue for the foreseeable future, however candidates ideally need to be able to commute to the Coleshill office around 1 day per week for face to face stakeholders meetings and project updates.
