Due to expansion, they now have a vacancy for an experienced Risk Analyst to join the busy Credit / Finance team.
Working as part of a small team you will take full control and management of a core business unit.
Support development and implementation of new risk management processes and cost of credit policies.
Help solve complex business problems and provide practical value based solutions, including the preparation of business cases, change requests and process trials.
Devise and implement accurate and easily understood Management Information around scoring, modelling and process outputs.
Take accountability for an area of credit policy, or risk models, monitoring performance, clearly communicating issues, developing and recommending changes where appropriate.
Data extraction to support scorecard development.
Identify, maintain and analyse business and credit risk data from a variety of sources to enable the business to develop and implement risk strategies.
Communicate Management Information to the credit team to aid their understanding of operational impacts.
Identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and engaging individual with experience of Credit processes.
You will understand customer segmentation and associated credit risk with knowledge of KPI / MI systems for reporting.
You must be an advanced user of MS Excel and Access and be comfortable using data tools to manipulate data.
A good level of academic qualifications and a background with Financial Services, Retail Banking or Utility sectors would be a distinct advantage.
