We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy and friendly team based Kettering.
Duties will include:
– Manage approximately 500 live accounts
– Total ledger at any one time approximately £13m
– Contact by telephone / email / letter in order to chase overdue debts
– Identifying payment patterns of customer
– Follow escalation process
– Maintaining accurate records
– Query log maintenance
– Implementing changes as per business requirements
Skills Required:
– Excellent customer service skills
– Patience and ability to remain calm
– Ability to listen and negotiate with customer / stakeholders
– Excellent verbal communication
– Work well within a team
– Be proactive when chasing payments
– Experience of SAGE1000 would be advantageous
– Good Excel skills
– Sales Ledger experience would also be advantageous – posting and allocation of cash payments (as this may become a combined role)
