FRS are delighted to be supporting a very good client of ours on an exclusive basis, with the recruitment of a Finance Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a relatively new and rapidly expanding business, with long term career goals attached.

Our client is growing, so the ideal candidate will want to progress within the business and take on any additional training offered – potentially somebody studying their AAT (or AAT Qualified), looking to further study and grow within the business when opportunities become available.

Duties will include:

– Processing bank transactions daily on Sage Line 50
– Reconciling and posting PDQ and cash receipts / refunds on Sage Line 50
– Posting petty cash transactions on Sage Line 50
– Entering supplier invoices and credit notes on Sage Line 50
– Managing relationships with suppliers as and when necessary
– Supplier statement reconciliations
– Supplier payment runs weekly
– Gathering weekly stock information for MI
– Monthly stock takes and reconciliation of these
– Assistance with year-end external audit
– Assisting with sales administration duties, including invoicing and reconciliations

The ideal candidate will have / be:

– An AAT studier or AAT Qualified – candidates qualified by experience will also be considered
– Excellent Sage knowledge
– Strong Excel skills
– Ability to work well alone as well as in a small office team
– Fantastic attention to detail and accuracy with work
– Organised and structured approach
