Finance Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a busy and forward thinking company within their Sales ledger Finance Team. We are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious individual who can work in a fast paced environment with accuracy and precision and shows a strong skillset to improve processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

. Processing BACS payments
. Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
. Running and checking statements
. Raising and checking rebates for early termination of contracts
. Checking VAT has been included on invoices
. Amending Clients Accounts
. Activating Direct Debit Mandates
. Producing invoices

Requirements:

. Must be highly numerate
. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
. Strong negotiation skills
. You will be a confident individual who can work autonomously and within a team
. A knowledge of operational accounting processes in a sales ledger environment would be ideal for this role
. Strong Excel skills
. Based in Wellingborough
. Full training will be given
