My client is a rapidly expanding privately owned SME Business within Manufacturing, supplying a range of niche products into the Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Industry.
The International operation has a Group turnover in excess of £25m, with additional expansion planned over the next 3-5 years via both organic growth and acquisition, to build on existing businesses based in the UK, USA, China, Mexico.
Due to continued growth, they now have a need for a dynamic and progressive Qualified Accountant looking to take their first or second step in a Finance Director Position.
This is a newly created role as part of the above international expansion, with the successful candidate joining the business and forming part of the executive team, taking a key role in the financial and strategic stewardship of their International group of 4 businesses.
Working from the Offices Near Southam, Warwickshire, this role is easily commutable from across the West Midlands, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and South Leicestershire.
Working closely with the senior management team, your key responsibilities include; ensuring the financial rigour of all management and statutory accounts are set in place, prepare quarterly and annual budgets, enhancing management reporting and optimising broader efficiencies across the group.
This opportunity will provide an insightful overview of the whole group.
Further responsibilities include; developing the internal controls that have been recently implemented.
The Finance Director will provide strong leadership to its peers and other staff members, and offer key strategic decisions in the business continued growth within the UK and Internationally.
The ideal candidate will be formally qualified with previous PQE.
You will be a natural leader and have prior experience operating as a FD or having experience working as Finance Manager, Financial Controller or within Commercial Finance, with the keen desire to take the step into their 1st FD position.
Previous experience gained working within Oil, Gas, Renewables, Manufacturing or Construction industries is preferred but not essential.
