We are looking for a Finance / Office Administrator to join a small, friendly team in Kettering.

Part Time Hours – 32 per week

Main Responsibilities:

– To manage the day to day administration duties within the office, including banking and account keeping
– Bookkeeping and accounting of the finances and preparation for the end of year auditing
– To provide administration support, ensuring accurate data as required
– To act as a first point of contact and deal efficiently with face to face, email, written, telephone enquiries, and requests
– Ensure efficient management of resources
– Provide timely and accurate month end and quarterly account reports
– Produce a Trustee pack of information for bimonthly Board meetings
– Any other tasks that may be required and to cover staff absence

Skills and Experience:

– Proven experience of bookkeeping and accounting
– Good administration skills and experience of using Microsoft Office
– Ability to compose written correspondence to a high standard, and in fluent English
– Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
– Proactive, organised and methodical
– A flexible approach towards the post and the ability to work on own initiative
– Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
– Accounting or bookkeeping qualification
