FRS have been enlisted by a reputable organisation who seek a handful of finance professionals to work at their offices based in Solihull.

Working alongside the Financial Controller and supervising one person in the finance team, you will be covering all aspects of transactional finance, and the role will include:

– Maintaining and managing the purchase ledger; adding new suppliers, process invoices and follow up queries with suppliers or internal staff as applicable
– Prepare and raise BACS payments
– Electronic expenses analysis and administration
– Process company credit cards
– Assist with sales ledger invoicing and monitor overdue accounts
– Assist with cashflow analysis
– Monthly accruals, prepayments and posting journals
– Month end reconciliations including debtors / creditors ledgers, bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts, and resolving any queries
– Preparation of monthly management accounts reports, actuals vs budget analysis
– Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by liaising with budget holders
– Assist during the budgeting and forecasting process
– Assist in the production of year end accounts and with any audit queries
– Continually look to create, review, and improve finance processes to ensure efficiency
– Perform routine calculations to produce analysis and reports
– Adhere to the organisations financial policies and procedures
– Suggest changes or improvement to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions
– Answer questions and aid stakeholders, customers and clients as needed
– Understand key drivers of the business and support in driving business performance
– Other finance duties as and when required
– Produce monthly payroll using Sage 50
