We are looking for an experienced Payroll professional to undertake a role, responsible for weekly (circa 300 staff) and monthly (circa 70 staff) payrolls.

Main tasks and duties:

1. Collate all payroll data for 4-weekly and monthly payroll submissions
2. Input / update relevant data in the time and attendance and payroll systems
3. Review approved hours to ensure accuracy of payment
4. Identify, investigate discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records
5. Respond to payroll queries within a timely manner
6. Calculate average holiday pay
7. Produce payroll reports and process payments

Any other ad hoc duties to support the Finance Manager and HR Officer.

Main qualities of the individual:

1. CIPP / Payroll Technician certified or working towards (desirable but not essential)
2. Confident user of Microsoft Office and HR, payroll databases
3. Payroll experience
4. Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation
5. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
6. A positive and proactive approach
7. A team player and good influencer
8. Comfortable working in an open, task orientated culture
9. Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff across the company
