Job responsibilities
. Administration of monthly Payroll in association with external providers, including post-payroll HMRC submissions and associated reporting.
. Administration of weekly timesheet submissions to agencies in respect of temporary workers and reconciling invoices vs payments.
. Maintenance, update and administration of the Company’s T&A system. Providing reports and submissions of pay, working hours and associated aspects.
. Processing and administration of Company benefits, including insurances.
. Provision of Management reporting information.
. Part home-working after successful probation period
. Flexibility outside of remit, normal working hours, place of work, etc. according to business requirements
. Part time hours, 3-4 hours per day, 5 days per week.
General duties and responsibilities
. Processing monthly internal payroll in conjunction with external payroll bureau
. Processing and submission of weekly timesheets to agencies for temp workers’ pay
. Post-payroll administration including HMRC submissions and Direct Pay reports
. Processing pay-rises and compensation adjustments
. Sick pay processing
. Insurances
. Health-related benefits administration
. Holiday entitlements
. Pensions administration
. Company car / car allowance administration
. Maintenance of the Time & Attendance system
. Entry of new joiners
. Archive of leavers
. Processing OT/anomalies
. Monitoring integrity of data entered
. Provision of management reporting information
. Preparation for inspections and audits
. Any other duties that may reasonable be requested
Essential skills and qualifications – Proven
Knowledge
. Working knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
. Successful experience in a comparable role
. Working knowledge of systems and data management
. Relevant IT general literacy (MS Office)
