A great opportunity to join a well established and friendly firm for an experienced Purchase Ledger professional.

Location: Kettering
Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 dep. on experience
Hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the update and control of the Purchase Ledger
• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes daily
• Obtaining authorisation and matching to purchase orders
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Preparation of payment runs
• Ensuring that proformas are paid VAT invoices chased
• To monitor the Accounts inbox
• Organise the payment of invoices to deadlines requested
• Assist with the month end closure
• Daily reporting of the Banking receipts
• Assist with the monthly financial reporting
• Setting up new suppliers, raising purchase orders
• Processing company credit card transactions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external contacts
• Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Manager

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proactive and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team
• Professional approach
• Previous Purchase Ledger experience
• Proven time management skills in a previous position
