An experienced Receptionist is sought for this Company based halfway between Northampton and Milton Keynes.
Main duties and responsibilities:
. To cover the Reception area and manage the visitor entry system, ensuring that all visitors (internal and external) are logged into and out of the building.
. Must portray a professional, corporate image to all when meeting and greeting all visitors.
. Answering the telephone in an appropriate, friendly and efficient manner and taking messages as appropriate, and screening calls.
. Ensuring all messages and correspondence are dealt with efficiently and promptly.
. Maintain calendars for the booking of the meeting rooms, and ensure that these rooms are kept neat and tidy ready for use.
. Provide support and typing of delivery notes, quotations and other material.
. To arrange suitable refreshments for visitors / meetings as required.
. Provide efficient and confidential administrative / ad hoc support to any member of the team who requests assistance.
. General administration including issuing of post, arranging couriers, booking taxis and control of stationery, office products and refreshments.
. Assisting with the day-to-day running of training courses, refreshments and so on.
. Liaise with site maintenance (fire and security alarm service personnel etc.), to ensure the safety, security and privacy of the business remain intact.
. Ensure that all work is carried out with due regard to health and safety requirements, whilst adhering to all company policies and procedures.
. Stock management.
. Monitor social media to identify stories and current affairs worth the company’s tweeting.
. Where required, take minutes of meetings and write up.
. Any other duties as might be reasonably required.
Previous experience is required, along with excellent communications skills and telephone manner, and IT skills.
