FRS are recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant for a small firm of Accountants on the West outskirts of Central Birmingham.

Working with a small, productive team, you will take on a portfolio of clients and below are the duties required within this role.

Knowledge of systems such as Xero, Sage and Iris would be an advantage, albeit not deal-breakers.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparation of Corporation tax computations
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Bookkeeping for clients
• VAT returns (monthly and quarterly)
• Payroll for a number of clients on a weekly and monthly basis
