My client is a well regarded SME business based in Lutterworth, South Leicestershire.

Due to expansion they now have a vacancy for an experienced Book Keeper / Accounts Manager to join the team and take responsibility for all things finance.

• Posting daily bank receipts and payments onto accounting system and reconciling to bank statements.
• Raising and posting of sales invoices, credit control.
• Raising purchase orders and processing of purchase invoices.
• Raising stock orders and receipting in - responsible for stock records / reconciliations and attending stock-takes at the warehouse as required.
• Prepare accounts to trial balance to enable FD to produce Budget and Forecast with month and year end duties to tight deadlines.
• Completion of VAT Returns and EC Sales, Intrastat.
• Sales Administration and complete stock checks.
• Ad hoc duties as required when working for a SME business.

Applicants must have a varied accounting knowledge, ideally across Purchase, Sales and General Ledgers and be happy working within a busy / fast paced team.

A good level of IT Literacy is key, to include Intermediate MS Excel (Pivots / Look Ups) and knowledge of Sage, Navision, Quickbooks or similar would be a massive advantage.

The hours of work are between 08:45 - 17:15, Monday to Friday.
