FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a service business based in the LE3 area of Leicester. My client is looking to recruit an all rounded finance professional, ideally with some AAT qualifications under their belt but this isn”t essential!

Suitable candidates will be experienced working within an SME and have previously covered the below duties. The breakdown of duties is listed below – you don”t have to have done all of these previously but this gives you an idea of the day to day tasks!

Purchase Ledger:
Processing supplier invoices
Allocating payments
Dealing with supplier & purchase order queries
Processing payment runs
Reconciling supplier statements
Reviewing GRNI’s
Entering non AP and AR receipts and payments

Sales Ledger:
Posting miscellaneous sales invoices and raising customer credits
Allocating customer receipts and intercompany netting

Payroll related:
Update and collate absence trackers
Upload pension contributions
Updating/resetting the monthly payroll spreadsheet
