My client is a small but well established business based in Buckingham and due to expansion they now have a full time, permanent vacancy for an experienced Accounts Assistant.
Reporting into the Company Accountant, you will work as part of a small team and duties will include:
* Day to Day Management of company Purchase and Sales Ledgers
* Management of company credit control, chasing of aged debtors and dealing with queries
* Closing of ledgers at month end and maintenance of company general ledger – Accruals, Prepayments, Journals, Fixed Assets
* Maintenance of company bank accounts, cash books and petty cash
* Assist accountant with monthly reporting and ad hoc duties as requested
The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of accounting principles with previous experience within a similar role.
You will posses a good level of IT Literacy to include MS Word, Excel with knowledge of either Sage, Navision, Pegasus or Kerridge being a distinct advantage.
