FRS are supporting a well established and growing property business based near Nuneaton to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company with a clear path for long-term career development!
Interviews will commence from the week beginning 7th July with the business keen to appoint the successful candidate as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Company Accountant, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records up to trial balance, supporting the month-end process and contributing to the overall financial health of the business.
Duties Will Include:
Accurately input purchase invoices into the accounting system
Manage tax payments for a small group of companies
Prepare and present payment schedules with supporting invoices for approval
Process bank payments and cheques
Prepare and submit VAT returns to HMRC
Process a small monthly payroll including salaries and timesheets
Record banking transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
Calculate and allocate commercial tenant insurance recharges
Assist with the preparation of management accounts for quarterly reviews
Support the Company Accountant with rolling 12-month cashflow forecasting and reporting
Coordinate year-end procedures, uploading trial balances and documentation for external accountants
The salary attached to this role is £30,000 to £40,000 which is potentially negotiable depending on experience with interviews taking place ASAP!
