Finance Assistant – Belper – £24/28k

FRS are recruiting a Finance Assistant for a business within the Construction sector ideally based between Belper & Ripley. Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years relevant or transferrable experience & have used Sage 50. The role will be predominantly Purchase Ledger duties but does have scope of progressing in the future.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be part of a small finance team responsible for keeping the accounts department running efficiently. Ideally, alongside your experience within finance, the business are looking for candidates with an outgoing personality to match the office vibe – it”s a very fun & bubbly environment, so if you”re looking for a new role with personality, this could be the one for you!

Duties Will Include:
Maintaining the Purchase Ledger (main purpose of this role but scope of more in the future)
Checking Supplier statements and requesting missing documentation
Processing invoices onto Sage 50
Preparing the credit card statements ready for the Finance Manager
Supporting month-end processes
Adhoc reporting for the Management team
