My client is a well respected business operating within the Construction / House Building

Due to internal movements, FRS have been enlisted to deliver the recruitment of a Finance Manager.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing support to the Divisional No 1, in providing accurate and timely financial information to all stakeholders for decision making purposes and assist with the smooth running of the finance team.

This will involve weekly and monthly reporting on cash and financial results, and involve working with the junior members of the team and providing support where necessary. You will join a welcoming and friendly team and be based in a challenging, vibrant, and growing organisation that has a strong history of development from within.

Key Duties and Responsibilities –

• Preparation of management accounts on a monthly basis with the aid of a Management Accountant
• Business Partner with Sales, Operations and Commercial to drive performance of business
• Provide support to the Head of Finance in production of monthly Board packs
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports to Group.
• Performing month end reconciliations and providing account analysis.
• Preparation and input of journals, prepayments and accruals.
• Monitoring daily bank movements inc actual and 3 month forecast reporting.
• Oversee Payroll
• Managing CIS scheme
• Ad hoc analysis and delivery of improvement projects as part of the divisions continued growth.

Applicants will need to be / have

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or qualified within 12 months.
• Proven ability with business partnering / stake holder engagement
• A track record in producing concise management information
• Ability to challenging processes to improve the quality of output.
• Produce information accurately to the stipulated deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal / communication skills and possess commercial awareness to effectively communicate at all levels.
• Dynamic approach with a desire to work within an agile / fast paced business.
• Previous experience gained within Construction or House Building Industries is desirable but not essential.
