My client is seeking a highly driven and technically strong Financial Controller reporting directly to the CFO. This is an ideal first or second move from an accountancy practice for a qualified ACA/ACCA seeking a high-visibility, challenging role.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close process.
Prepare accurate financial statements (IFRS/GAAP) and management reports.
Maintain and enforce robust internal financial controls.
Manage the annual external audit and tax compliance.
Oversee daily financial operations (GL, AP, AR).
Mentor and manage a small finance team.
Must-Haves:

ACA or ACCA qualified.
Must be a First or Second Mover directly from an Accountancy Practice.
Proven expertise in technical accounting and implementation of strong controls.
The ability to develop and mentor a finance team.
