Our client is a high growth business operating within the Manufacturing and Construction industry with a European Parent Company and UK Head Office ideally location in West Leicester easily access from across the East and West Midlands using M1 / M69 and especially so given the companies Hybrid Working offering.

As part of the companies continued expansion alongside internal promotion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Management Accountant on a full time permanent basis.
Due to the salary level, this position is likely to be suited to a QBE or Part Qualified Accountant working towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA (Study Support Offered)
Reporting directly to the Chief Accountant this person will assist with the day to day running of the finance department.
The Management Accountant will need to work collaboratively with a number of team members in finance and the wider Smart Space team. The role requires someone who can apply a high level of attention to quality and detail to minimise mistakes.

Key responsibilities
• Produce monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• KPI reporting
• Statutory submissions PAYE/ CIS / AOE / VAT
• Assist in audit and year end processes
• Maintain a record of project profitability and provide updates to Operations and Sales teams on live projects
• Collaborate with the Chief Accountant to develop models for budgeting & forecasting; then maintain and update budget models
• Aid in the development of the team and processes

• Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and compliance with Finance protocols
• The ability to work effectively with/alongside non Finance professionals and other parts of the business
• Committed to their own continuing professional development, being fully conversant and up to date with relevant legislation and best practice
• Proficient in the use of all MS Office applications, finance systems (experience with Sage desirable) and digital communications
• Excel skills up to VLOOKUP/SUMIFs level
