Our client is a high growth business specialising within engineering services into the Rail Industry.
As a result of both record growth and internal promotion, FRS have been enlisted to assist in the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join the business located within Leicester

Working closely with the Financial Controller, this is the 3rd most senior position within the finance team taking responsibility for the below.

• Assist the FC with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
• Weekly KPI’s, Reviewing WIP, Operations and Finance, Income analysis.
• Journals, accruals, prepayments and fixed asset management
• Management of company Bank Accounts, ensuring smooth Cash Flow
• Processing staff expenses and credit card reconciliations.
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Banks
• Assist with the overseeing of Ledgers (PL / SL / GL) and month end close
• Create and issue sales invoices and statements as required
• Credit score checking. Verifying Customer and Supplier details
• Chasing of debtors when and resolving queries as required
• Process weekly paid employees’ hours ready to submit for payroll
• Aid Financial Controller with the delivery of improvement projects
• Assisting the financial controller with ad hoc tasks at month and year end
• Daily use of MS Excel and Sage Line 200

The ideal candidate will be working towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA and have at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar position (Assistant Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant)
Those that are QBE or Not studying but have suitable experience will be considered and full study support offered if desired.

A good level of IT Literacy is required to include MS Excel with knowledge of Sage 200 or other sage products desirable.
