FRS are recruiting a Part-Time Management Accountant for a reputable food manufacturing business based in the South West area of Derbyshire

This role is a newly created job and you will be joining a vibrant & hard-working finance team & suitable candidates will want to join an ever growing company who gives their employees a real say in how things are ran.

Suitable candidates will be experienced using Sage 50 & have good knowledge of MS Excel as these two systems are used heavily in your day to day activity. Ideally you will have experience within FMCG / Food Manufacturing sectors and be formally qualified (CIMA / ACCA). The role is office based, Monday to Friday and has scope of rapidly growing in line with company growth and future hiring plans.

Duties will include:
Monthly VAT returns across 4 businesses within the Group
Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations across 2 businesses
End of month and end of year preparations
Management accounts for 2 businesses with commentary on variances
Nominal code activity analysis
Overseeing supplier payments
Assisting with the creation of budgets
Compiling, preparing and presenting KPIs
Product costings
Product bill of materials
Developing reporting suite to support / facilitate good decision making and highlight any areas to focus on
