FRS are recruiting a part time Bookkeeper to join an accountancy firm based in Lichfield. They want someone to work on a part time basis, working around 20-25 hours per week and predominantly doing VAT Returns for a number of clients.

Suitable candidates will be seeking flexible, part time hours around 20-25 hours per week & able to travel to Lichfield.

Duties Will Include:
Prepare and submit VAT returns for a portfolio of clients
Liaise with clients to gather necessary records and clarify queries
Ensure all VAT returns are submitted accurately and on time
Monitor VAT deadlines and manage submission schedules
Advise clients on VAT-related queries, including Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance
Work with cloud-based software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) to manage and reconcile VAT transactions
