FRS are recruiting a Finance Office Manager for a reputable construction business based in Leicester. Suitable candidates will be based locally, have CIS experience, confident using Sage & be comfortable working in a small finance team.
Reporting into the MD & working closely with the external accountancy firm, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records including supporting the month-end process and with the external firm when it comes to audit.
Duties Will Include
• Accurately input purchase invoices into the accounting system
• Manage tax payments for a small group of companies
• Prepare and present payment schedules with supporting invoices for approval
• Process bank payments and cheques
• Supporting with the production of month end management accounts
• Prepare and submit VAT returns to HMRC
• Process a small monthly payroll including salaries and timesheets
• Record banking transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts for quarterly reviews
• Support the Company Accountant with rolling 12-month cashflow forecasting and reporting
• Coordinate year-end procedures, uploading trial balances and documentation for external accountants
